Novokostiantynivka Mine

Novokostiantynivka Mine is located in the Malovyskivskyi district. It exploits the Novokostiantynivske deposit – the largest in Europe in terms of uranium reserves, which is among the ten largest deposits in the world.
It is key both for the development of SkhidGZK and for the entire nuclear energy sector of Ukraine.

An investment project “Novokostiantynivka Mine

Development of production capacities” is being implemented at the mine. Its implementation provides for an increase in ore extraction volumes and the creation of a full production cycle.1975– the Novokostyantynivske deposit was opened.1984 – the beginning of construction of the Novokostyantynivskyi mine.2010 – the mine returned to the composition of SE “SkhidGZK”.2011 – experimental-industrial uranium mining is being carried out at the Novokostyantynivska mine.2016 – the millionth ton of uranium ore was brought to the surface.
