Strategic priorities

Energy independence

Reducing Ukraine’s nuclear energy dependence on foreign suppliers of uranium products.

Mining development

Concentrating investment on expanding the production capacity of the Novokostiantynivska Mine.

Efficient processing

Modernising the technological base to ensure stable production of uranium oxide concentrate.

Financial sustainability

Restructuring liabilities, optimising costs and strengthening cooperation with state partners.

Key investment projects

01

Development of the Novokostiantynivska Mine

Increasing uranium ore production from the Novokostiantynivske deposit to 1.5 million tonnes per year. The project includes the development of shafts and underground levels, a transport and storage complex, power facilities and railway infrastructure.

Objective: improve the efficiency of uranium oxide concentrate production and reduce Ukraine’s dependence on imported uranium products.

02

New sulphuric acid plant

Construction of a modular facility with a nominal capacity of 270 thousand tonnes of sulphuric acid per year for uranium oxide concentrate production and the Ukrainian market.

  • estimated equipment service life — 30 years;
  • estimated construction and installation period — 1 year;
  • planned investment — UAH 900 million;
  • expected return on product sales — up to 25%.

Stabilisation and transformation programme

  • Financial recovery. Restructuring and phased repayment of accounts payable, together with budget and loan financing for strategic projects.
  • Structural optimisation. Reducing the cost of non-core assets through transfer, lease, sale, privatisation or write-off in accordance with the law.
  • Safe production transformation. Phased management of facilities being decommissioned and transfer of environmentally hazardous sites to specialised organisations.
  • Workforce preservation. Maintaining the continuous operation of a critical enterprise and retaining skilled employees.
  • Stronger state coordination. Working with JSC “NNEGC Energoatom” on long-term financial sustainability and reliable uranium supply for nuclear power generation.
